What is the difference between doing what is right—and truly having the presence and power of God upon your life?

Among the rulers recorded in 1 and 2 Kings, Hezekiah stands apart. The Bible does not merely say that he did right in the sight of the Lord. It declares, “And the LORD was with him.”

In this message from 2 Kings 18:1–7, we examine three defining marks of a life God can use:

• Worship that removes every rival
• Faith that rests fully in God
• A relationship that refuses to let go

Hezekiah did not manage the high places—he removed them. He did not simply speak about trusting God—he abandoned every competing source of confidence. He clave to the Lord with a closeness that produced uncommon faith, obedience, and spiritual power.

It is possible to be doctrinally right, morally conservative, and outwardly religious while still lacking the evident presence of God. The real question is not merely, “Are we doing right?” The question is, “Is the Lord with us?”

Listen now and ask God to reveal every rival, backup plan, and distraction standing between you and complete dependence upon Him.
