Right in the Middle of a Miracle | Ezekiel 37

What do you do when God has started working, but you still cannot see the finished result?

In Ezekiel 37, God places Ezekiel in a valley filled with dry bones—a picture of loss, defeat, and hopelessness. Yet right in the middle of that valley, God begins doing what no man could ever accomplish. Bones come together. Sinews and flesh appear. Everything begins to look alive.

But there is still no breath.

This message, “Right in the Middle of a Miracle,” reminds us that God’s sovereignty does not remove our responsibility, but our responsibility can never replace God’s power. There comes a point when we have obeyed, prayed, preached, worked, and done everything God has placed in our hands—and what happens next can only come from Him.

Ezekiel stood before something completely beyond human ability and simply answered, “O Lord GOD, thou knowest.”Sometimes the middle of the miracle is the place where our ability ends and our dependence on God truly begins.

God can breathe life into what seems dead. He can restore what has been broken. He can reunite what has been divided for years. And when the wind of God begins to blow, conviction, repentance, restoration, reconciliation, and resurrection follow.
Maybe you are not at the end of the story.

You may simply be right in the middle of a miracle.
